Tranquil, meditative, inspiring - the benefits of learning in Devon
A Learning Retreat - the benefits of face to face learning
IN EXETER DEVON - ACCESSIBLE AND BEAUTIFUL
We deliver the majority of the programme as a 3 day, face to face retreat in a tranquil and beautiful setting in one of Devon's most stunning locations - Reed Hall at the University of Exeter. Just minutes from Exeter's vibrant and arty Exeter Quay and Gandy Street and a short train ride from attractions like the quaint water-front town of Topsham, it offers everything for both learning and relaxing together afterwards.
Experiential, face to face learning has been shown to gain better, more lasting results. It gives you space and focus for the reflection necessary to develop more effective leadership knowledge, the invaluable learning experience of interacting with other leaders and the opportunity to properly unpack and learn the complexities of change strategy and amplification.
Running the face-to-face sessions back-to-back over 3 days also allows you to immediately connect the different aspects of learning for greater impact and to quickly achieve the learning goals. We run this as an optional residential – enabling individuals working locally in Devon and in counties further afield to all participate in the programme.
The 3 online follow up sessions then allow you to continue the conversations and support with the people you’ve met on the programme and to deepen your understanding.
